Privacy Policy

ShootTempo is a shoot-day planning app made by Breezy Design Co LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information ShootTempo handles, why, and the choices you have. It covers the app at app.shoottempo.com, the crew pages it creates, and this website.

What we collect

• Your account: your name and email address, and the company you work with. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google to confirm who you are.
• Your shoots: what you and your team put into ShootTempo, such as schedules, shot lists, locations, crew names, positions, call times, email addresses and phone numbers, interview questions, notes, takes, marked moments, lighting diagrams, logos and branding.
• Crew responses: when a crew member confirms or declines call times on their crew page, we store their answer and any note they add.
• Email delivery: for emails ShootTempo sends (sign-in codes, invites and call times), we keep a record of who it went to, when, and whether it was delivered.
• Technical information: our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.

We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

Only to run ShootTempo: to sign you in, keep your shoots in sync across your devices and team, show crew members their schedule, send the emails you ask it to send, and learn your company's own shoot pace from its past shoots. Each company's shoots, contacts and pace are kept separate from every other company's.

Google user data

ShootTempo uses Google in two optional ways:

• Sign in with Google receives your email address and name to sign you in.
• Import from a Google Sheets link asks for read-only access to your spreadsheets. ShootTempo reads only the spreadsheet you choose to import, in your browser, to turn it into a shoot. The access token stays in your browser's memory for up to an hour and is never sent to or stored on our servers. We don't read, keep or use any other spreadsheet.

ShootTempo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.

Who we share it with

• Your team and crew: people on your company's team see the shoots shared with them. Crew members you send a link to see the schedule, locations and the key contacts you choose. Crew pages never show email addresses, private notes, takes, interview questions or other crew members' phone numbers.
• Service providers that run ShootTempo for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Resend (sending email), Google (sign-in and Sheets import, when you use them) and Open-Meteo (weather forecasts, which receive only a location's coordinates and date).
• When required by law, or to protect people's safety or the service.

On your device

ShootTempo stores a copy of your shoots on your device so it works offline, and keeps you signed in for 30 days. Signing out removes your sign-in from that device.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep your information while your company's account is active. You can delete a shoot in the app at any time, which removes it and turns off its crew links. To delete your account or get a copy of your information, email us and we'll take care of it within 30 days. Removed shoots may remain in backups for a short time before they're overwritten.

Security

Information travels over encrypted connections, sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and crew links use long random addresses that can be reset at any time. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think something is wrong.

Children

ShootTempo is for working film and video crews and isn't meant for children under 13. Information about people on camera, such as interview subjects, is entered by the production company, which is responsible for having permission to use it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let account owners know by email.
